There have been several updates and additions to the Open Class competition. Please take time to double check through all the areas so your items are entered correctly, and you can participate in the new classes for competition!

MOST EXHIBITS SWEEPSTAKES!
Bring more exhibits and receive a special ribbon and a chance to win a $100 Visa Gift Card! A large colorful Special Ribbon will be awarded in different departments and divisions to individuals exhibiting the most exhibits (6 or more in any one division) in the given department. For example, the most vegetable entries, the most quick breads entries, the most hobby-craft entries, etc... For each division that an exhibitor enters 6 or more entries, they are granted an entry into a drawing for the $100 Visa gift card! Drawing on Sunday.
Important Dates -
ALL ENTRIES Pre-Registration Deadline: Monday, July 21st 9:00pm
ALL Items that are not a living plant or flower exhibit:
Entry Day (Non-Flowers): Tuesday, July 22nd 8:00am - 6:00pm
Judging: Wednesday, July 23rd 8:00am
ALL Flowers and Living Plants Exhibits:
Entry Day (Flowers ONLY): Wednesday, July 23rd 8:00am - 6:00pm
Judging (Flowers ONLY): Wednesday, July 24th 6:00pm
Entry Day Instructions -
- Enter through front gate (no parking fees on Tuesday or Wednesday)
- You may park in front of the Open Class Building to unload, then move your vehicle after.
- Pre-registration is recommended to make Entry Day easier. We highly recommend anyone with 10 entries or more to pre-register. If you have not pre-registered, please have your items: Department, Division, and Class numbers upon arrival.
- You will check in, receive your tags, and volunteers will be there to help place your items.
- Once your items have been tagged and placed, you must leave the space to allow for others to operate in the building.
- Registration closes at 6:00pm
Regulations -
- Only one entry in a class will be permitted by an exhibitor. In case of duplicate entries by the same exhibitor, neither exhibit will qualify for judging.
- Entries are required to be made in the owner’s name only. However, entries may be brought for competition by another individual or group.
- The same exhibit may not be entered for premiums more than 1 year; entries should be from the current year, unless indicated otherwise.
- Entries are required to be delivered and remain on exhibit as designated by individual departments.
- A superintendent has the authority to reject an entry based on entry requirements.
- The same photograph cannot be used in multiple divisions/classes.
- All photographs need to be framed and ready to hang including a label with name, address and phone number on the back.
- The department will make every effort to assure the safety of all articles after arrival and placement, but in no event will the department be responsible for any loss or damage to exhibits.
Judging -
- Buildings are closed to the exhibitors and the general public during judging. An exhibitor is not allowed to discuss or influence a judge’s decision. The entry will be disqualified if this occurs.
- Judges’ decisions are final.
Premiums -
- Premiums will be paid when entries are picked up on the last day of the Fair or at the discretion of the board. Premiums will be forfeited for any entries removed prior to 4:00pm Sunday.
- Sponsor gifts are awarded to Grand and Reserve Grand Champion, Champion and Reserve Champion as specified by donor.
